¡Hola, amantes de las películas y series! Estoy aquí, presentando mi participación para el concurso de esta comunidad el cual pueden leer aqui, ahora como ya he mencionado antes, el género que más me gusta ya sea en libros, películas, series, etc., desde el inicio de los tiempos es el terror y por eso no pude evitar participar en este concurso ya que tengo mucho de que hablar.
Mi película de terror favorita actualmente es de 2018, ya que yo las cambio de posición conforme voy encontrando películas que considero mejor que las anteriores, así que esta pelicula la vi hace unos meses y debo decir que tenía un tiempo que no me asustaba se esa manera, me puso a ver hacia los lados en mi cuarto y casi me hizo querer prender la luz. Esta es El Legado del Diablo, que ha obtenido críticas mixtas pero bien que se lleva el primer lugar en mi lista de películas de terror favoritas.

Película dirigida por Ari Aster y protagonizada por Toni Collette y el joven talentoso Alex Wolf, este film prácticamente reciente consiguió impresionarme de una manera que ninguna película lo había logrado desde hace mucho tiempo, me provocó miedo y paranoia. Con decir que han llamado a esta obra "el nuevo exorcista" ya es suficiente explicación para entender las dimensiones del terror que trajo la película y su ejecución.
Reseña
Como bien dice el título, el tema principal es la familia y la herencia que esta preserva por cada generación, solo que esta es una herencia siniestra. Desde el inicio jamás vemos un momento estable o feliz de familia ya que comienza con el funeral de la cabeza de la misma que es la abuela Ellen, se da a entender que era mentalmente inestable de alguna manera y que este problema le causó estragos en la vida de su hija que se mudaria a la casa que heredó de la matriarca junto con sus hijos y esposo. La historia de infancia se cuenta a través de la miniaturas artesanales que hace Annie y que narran los momentos que vivió con su madre y su hermano, incluso cuando tuvo a su hija Charlie y la extraña relación que tenía con ella.
Annie (Collette) a pesar de sentir dolor por la muerte de su madre no quiere decir que hubiera vivido momentos felices a su lado y que la extrañara, por el contrario, el tiempo que pasó junto a ella fue un infierno lo que desencadenó que la propia Annie también se volviera mentalmente inestable, debiendo cuidarse y dedicarse durante mucho tiempo para poder vivir una vida normal.
Lo que me impresionó y me gustó de la película es como se juega con este aspecto de los personajes, como se desgastan emocionalmente poco a poco hasta llegar al punto de no saber que es real y que no, como por cada secreto que revelan se van dando cuenta de que no hay salida ya que está en su destino desde el momento es que nacieron bajo el apellido familiar. La abuela a pesar de no estar alli fisicamente, sigue estando allí a través de su legado consiguiendo atormentar a su hija y a su familia.
Actuación
Simplemente impecable, la actuación de Toni como una madre deprimida, rota y desesperada que no sabe que hacer y que cada vez decae más y más por cada infortunio que va ocurriendo en su familia es sorprendente. Hay una escena en particular donde debe actuar con dolor, y quede congelada cuando la vi, me dio escalofríos porque consiguió transmitir ese sentimiento de manera muy cruda.
Charlie (Milly Shapiro) cumplió su propósito, me aterro completamente su actuación (y ese bendito chasquido de lengua Tsk), un personaje que aunque aparezca o no en escena sigue teniendo esa presencia siniestra y misteriosa, su mirada inexpresiva me puso los pelos de punta.
Peter (Alex Wolf) al principio parece no tener mucho protagonismo, pero conforme avanza la historia nos damos cuenta de que el pobre es el que peor la pasa, el debe presenciar y vivir todos estos acontecimientos aterradores sin poder hacer nada para evitarlo, no sabe que sucede ni por que y tampoco quiere averiguarlo, solo se rompe cada vez más junto a su madre y todo se derrumba cuando se da cuenta de que jamás podrá volver a tener una vida normal.

Una película excelente, que consiguió asustar a una fanática de las películas de terror como yo y que de verdad recomiendo solo para aquellos que tienen la valentía suficiente de poder aguantar el ambiente tan incómodo y lúgubre que nos muestran en cada escena, es diferente y cruda también realista en lo que a las emociones se refiere y sin duda alguna, da miedo. Si se animan, haganme saber que les pareció.

Hello, movie and series lovers! I'm here, submitting my participation for this community contest which you can read here, now as I mentioned before, the genre I like the most either in books, movies, series, etc., since the beginning of time is horror and that's why I couldn't avoid participating in this contest since I have a lot to talk about.
My favorite horror movie currently is from 2018, as I change them as I find movies that I consider better than the previous ones, so this movie I saw it a few months ago and I must say that it had been a while since a movie scared me that way, it made me look sideways in my room and almost made me want to turn on the lights. This is Hereditary, which has gotten mixed reviews but well it takes the top spot on my list of favorite horror movies.

Synopsis:
"When Ellen, the matriarch of the Graham family, passes away, her daughter's family begins to unravel cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry. The more they discover, the more they find themselves trying to outrun the sinister fate they seem to have inherited."

Directed by Ari Aster and starring Toni Collette and the talented young Alex Wolf, this almost recent film managed to impress me in a way that no film had done in a long time, it provoked me fear and paranoia. To say that this work has been called "the new exorcist" is enough explanation to understand the dimensions of the terror that the film and its execution brought.
Review
As the title says, the main theme is the family and the inheritance that it preserves for each generation, but this is a sinister inheritance. From the beginning we never see a stable or happy family moment since it begins with the funeral of the head of the family, grandmother Ellen, it is implied that she was mentally unstable in some way and that this problem caused havoc in the life of her daughter who would move to the house she inherited from the matriarch along with her children and husband. The childhood story is told through Annie's handmade miniatures that narrate the moments she lived with her mother and brother, including when she had her daughter Charlie and the strange relationship she had with her.
Annie (Collette) despite feeling pain for the death of her mother does not mean that she had lived happy moments by her side and missed her, on the contrary, the time she spent with her was hell which triggered that Annie herself also became mentally unstable, having to take care of herself and dedicate herself for a long time to be able to live a normal life.
What impressed me and what I liked about the film is how it plays with this aspect of the characters, how they become emotionally worn out little by little until they reach the point of not knowing what is real and what is not, how for every secret they reveal they realize that there is no way out since it is in their destiny from the moment they were born under the family name. The grandmother, despite not being there physically, is still there through her legacy, tormenting her daughter and her family.
Acting
Simply impeccable, Toni's performance as a depressed, broken and desperate mother who doesn't know what to do and who falls more and more for every misfortune that happens in her family is amazing. There is one scene in particular where she has to act in pain, and I froze when I saw it, it gave me chills because she managed to convey that feeling in a very raw way.
Charlie (Milly Shapiro) served her purpose, I was completely terrified by her performance (and that tongue click Tsk), a character that whether she appears on stage or not still has that sinister and mysterious presence, her expressionless look gave me goosebumps.
Peter (Alex Wolf) at first seems not to have much prominence, but as the story progresses we realize that the poor guy is the one who has the worst time, he must witness and live all these terrifying events without being able to do anything to avoid it, he does not know what happens or why and does not want to find out, just breaks more and more with his mother and everything collapses when he realizes that he can never have a normal life again.

An excellent movie, that managed to scare a horror movie fanatic like me and that I really recommend only for those who are brave enough to endure the uncomfortable and gloomy atmosphere that we are shown in every scene, it is different and raw but also realistic as far as emotions are concerned and without a doubt, it is scary. Del director me gusto mas Midsommar. Aunque la atmosfera inquietante de Heredetary es lo que mas destaca. La niña es ahora una adolescente y hace un tiempo lei qu e tiene una cuenta de tik tok con muchísimos seguidores. Ella sufre de una malformación de la cabeza, que en la película es usado para que se vea mas perturbadora.
Se cual es Midsommar pero no he podido verla aún, he escuchado buenos comentarios acerca de ella. Y es verdad lo de Milly, aunque me perturbo más la actuación de Toni Collette jaja muchas gracias por leer!
Me encantó esa película, sinceramente, el personaje de la niña transmite una inquietud y un terror increíble.
