051020 - Mother's Day 2020.

in CCC4 years ago

Mother's Day.

I crawled out of bed after being dizzy and partly unconcious since yesterday 3 pm.
I guess I am back where I was last year and no doctor could find anything.
The pain in my head is back since two days, the pain in both ears is still there just like my allergies and thanks to that trouble breathing. My back aches, so does my neck and my hands, feet, arms and legs (till elbow/knee hight) feel numb as soon as I sit or lay down.
I guess this is the next "you have to live with it" episode and that's what I am going to do. I read in the news after the Coronalife we have to skype with the doctor too. Well doctor you can forget about that. It doesn't sound save to me, you never know who is watching. Not that doctors are so busy these days. Most only sit behind their desk or let the assistant do their job. Perhaps it's better to visit a vet. If you go to a vet you have a specialist plus most results at once.

My friend left me a message and I answered her questions plus wished her a great Mother's Day.
My eldest wished me a nice Mother's Day too although she should know we do not really celebrate it.
I didn't go to the shops last weeks, not in the mood and no need to since we have still food in the cupboard, but the youngest baked a cake with peaches (I have them in tins) which came out well. The oven went out several times and the temp was too low.

The birds outside make a terrible noise. So do the sheep. I guess it's dinner time for them?

No plans for today. I washed myself, did the laundry and that's enough.
The coronavirus, the lockdown, etc is great for sick people like me. We miss nothing and can finally stay in bed, slow down because no kids need to be taken to school (yet).

Food on the table.
I ate the last canned tuna "with vegetables. The children had some cake

We ate the last old cookies (I had two), we ate the rest of the cake and I made nasi (rice) with omelet (last three eggs) and peanut butter sauce. We had some potato chips with a dip sauce. The potato chips was terrible, partly burned.

The "mayonnaise" looked spoiled. I think the cold is the reason. I added some oil to it and stirred and it looks and tastes fine again. Good to know.

I sure hope you can get feeling better soon Kitty Wu, I've been down with a light fever for several day, but nothing like what you describe.
You got my vote @wakeupkitty

I am sorry to hear you had a fever. I hope you feel better now.

I have this - looking back - since I am 12 years old it's just since 1-2 years getting worse. Exactly one year ago I stayed in the hospital for weeks and they tested everything. At first, they thought Addison disease, next dehydration, heart, scanned my head, checked my adrenaline level, etc but it all seems to be fine.

The only thing I can do is give in to it and "sleep" till I am able to wake up again.

Thank you for your vote. I wish you good health and a great day 💕

Thank you Kitty, I am feeling better, less tendency to feel feverish, I still don't have much energy.
I sure wish they could figure out what was causing you this pain and get some help to you.
One of my cousins died from Addison's disease, it was very painful for him near the end. Please don't have that.

Take it easy, one step after the next. The luxury of Corona is we can do that now. Do not forget to drink (first thing I quit with once I feel miserable).
I hope it's not Addison, I think I have Sjögren and my neck damage is a part of the reason why I get unconscious. I take it easy too and hope it won't get worse and wait for the better days to do what needs to be done.

I am sorry to hear about your cousin and the painful end. People shouldn't suffer in such a way. Strange how we call it human if we do not make our pet end like that.

Stay safe and above all healthy. 💕

You stay safe and well also @wakeupkitty

I hope you can find out what is going on with you being so sick. Are you sure you do not have the virus? I hope not but you should get tested just in case. My dad always made hot toddy for me when I did not feel good. He would heat whiskey, lemon juice and honey and have me drink it. I hope you feel better soon. The peach cake looks good.

I have this "dizzyness" since I am 12 years old and it is worse since the past years. I was in the hospital for this one year ago. They tested everything, heart, lack of adrenaline, made a scan of my head, etc and could not find anything. I talked about this with @fitinfun and she had similar problems suddenly tired, being unconscious...

I do not see the need to test on Corona. This has nothing to do with it plus they will not do it unless you have these symptoms and are seriously ill.

Do they test everyone who likes it where you live?
I could have been tested last Saturday with my youngest for statistics but we decided not to take that risk.

some places will test anyone who wants it and others will only test if you have symptoms. They are now saying a lot of people have had it and had no symptoms so they test to see if you have antibodies which means you had it and did not know it. I do not know about other places but here in the states children are getting what they are calling a mystery illness from the coronavirus, some have died. I do hope you can find out what ails you and get to feeling better.

If you had it and have antibodies it might mean you cannot get if for a second time. It's not sure because a virus mutates which means it can develop a different disease. It would be good to start with. There's more chance with a natural group immunity as a safe vaccine in the short term.

I think my neck damages, damaged nerves, cause it in combination with a lack of sleep and lack of hormones. I felt something snap in my head at least two times already 2-3 years ago after that I could hardly walk or lift a hand but they cannot find anything but the same spot hurts. I do not know what they looked for since I stayed at endocrinology.

I read and mentioned the new child disease a week ago, perhaps longer. They say it's not sure it's a covid variety but I think many symptoms are similar except perhaps pain in the belly. At this moment we hear nothing about it. Perhaps more news we are not allowed to hear?
If this is caused by the coronavirus it means children are as vulnerable as adults, even as much as elderly people, the virus just behaves differently with them and it is no good idea to start school again. 💕

Here they are saying it is a sort of side effect from the coronavirus with the children, they have had it but in them, they have more symptoms like a rash and bellyache. I feel like this is far from over. People here are acting like there is nothing to worry about. I think they should continue with home school until this goes away.

I only heard the illness is serious and the children have to be taken to the hospital immediately. Some died all between the age of 13 and 14.

What people think is hard to tell. The fact is still no one I know knows anyone infected or being ill or who died.

Some suffer from real anxiety but these are the people who always do about everything, more people get depressed (not because they lost their job).

The only thing I notice is more people are outside which probably has to do with the weather. Terraces are open. I saw the tables outside, very small ones, and not with a 1.5-meter distance. I saw some people sit there but we won't.
With us, the shops remained open and everything is now. They work with appointments/reservations or a max of people in smaller shops and a part keeps working at home.

In three weeks we'll see if more people get sick. If not high schools start again too. They talked about summer camps but I am not sure if that is a great idea. To be honest I think it's nonsense to start 1-2 months before the holidays start. Why not play it safe till at least September? Parents are not allowed to enter the school because? But children take the virus with them back home, while sporting, etc it's airborne. It all doesn't make sense to me.

None of it makes sense to me either. My sisters grandson has it, he is 11, they took him to the hospital because he had a very high fever and that hospital sent him to another hospital 2 hours away. He is home now but still very sick and everyone who has been around him has to quarantine for two weeks. I asked why they sent him home and was told because he is not having trouble breathing that they do not need to put him on a ventilator. They are to take him back if his breathing gets worse. I guess they need the beds, too.
