Today we are going to Deep Dive into Brocoin on #Hive-engine and the hive account @Brofund.
In the spring of 2020, Admiral speaks {@brofund, @raymondspeaks} announced a token swap between the "old brocoin" and the "new brocoin." The old Brocoin is now extinct and the "new" brocoin is what you can now find on Hive-engine.
Brocoin is a #Hive-engine based token.
The main purpose of Brocoin is to act as an investment token. Brocoin offers holders a variety of micropayouts of other #Hive-engine tokens. The Hive account @Brofund holds miner tokens on #Hive-engine to provide the micro payouts to Brocoin holders.
In other words, if you buy and hold Brocoins: You will recieve micropayouts of other tokens like #Leo, #stem and #weedcash!
ABOVE are the miner tokens that power the #brocoin micropayouts.

Beginning in 2020, #Brocoin started out at the ambitious price of 3 Hive each. Because of the early promise of micropayouts and other use cases; #Brocoin actually managed not to drop in price for quite a while.
@brofund had #Brocoin listed in upward tier steps, with large sell orders at each step. In other words, a small spike in the price graph represents a lot of token sells! These token sells are what powered up the micropayouts {from the miner tokens} that #brocoin holders get.
The more #brocoin that sold, the more investment money @Brofund contained. Then more miner tokens would be purchased to fund the micropayouts.
@Brofund also serves as a large curation account.

The @brofund also curates with Hive Power.
Above you can see the @brofund peakd wallet: Which contains around 37K Hive Power and 52K Delegated hive Power. This Hive Power from @brofund is part of the curation service and votes on various posts from Hive users.
In October 2020, when Bro tokens were still only 4 Hive each, Hive user Themarkymark cut a deal with @brofund {Raymond} to buy a large amount of #Brocoin if @brofund {Raymond} would agree to burn a large amount of the #brocoin listed by the @brofund account.
This had a huge effect on the amount of Bro {sells} on the market. The @brofund account suddenly had much less #Brocoin sells on the market! And he wasn't planning to list more.
Meanwhile, Themarkymark has been fairly conservative about listing #brocoin sells. #Brocoin is currently worth 9.16 Hive each {1.24 USD each}.
Another important aspect of @Brofund is the proposal system.
Any Hive user can join the Discord server {https://discord.gg/ayWeBws } and submit a proposal. The funds for the propoal come from Raymound's personal holdings of Bro. Therefore he is the one who picks proposals that he wants to invest in.
@Brofund sponsors several Hive based projects.
@Brofund sponsors the largest monthly poker game on lucksacks called "Titans of Poker".
@Brofund sponsored the development of a tipping bot for #gardening content.
@Brofund sponsored Hive-roller. A Hive gaming website with it's own #hive-engine token.
The personal Hive account for the user that runs @Brofund is called @Raymondspeaks. Raymond blogs about mental health, men's health and relaionships. There are sometimes posts about #brocoin and the Brofund there.
This is where the term "Bro" comes from. Raymond makes Men's health content on Youtube and the Hive blockchain.
That being said, everyone is welcome to invest and to hang out in the discord mentioned above. There are many different types of content curated by the @brofund. Anyone can submit a post for curation.
