The Hive Engagement League
This league is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.
Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here, including those powering down or dealing in delegations over the past couple of weeks. Only the top 100 scores are shown.
The score is made up from a simple formula which uses the following types of engagement:
- Posts (P)
- Comments (C)
- Number of people spoken to (PS)
- Comments outside of own posts (CO)
- Unique Author posts (UA)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (CR)
- Comments - length in characters (CL)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (UV)
- Self-votes - No minus score but no bonus HIVE (SV)
Note: Copy/Paste comments will be excluded!

Overall numbers for the week looked pretty good. A few more votes could have gone out, but perhaps like me a few extra large votes went out. Very nice to see the price is not having to much of an effect on those of us that engage on an almost daily basis.
I want to thank everyone that has voted on content of mine, Somewhere this weekend I moved into the reputation level of 68. On August 2nd I was at 67.050, today I am at 68.079 so just under four months to grow one point, I know it takes longer as the REP increases, but maybe by June next year I will be at 69 and wondering like a lot of people in the past how long it will take before hitting 70.
It was really nice to see the numbers increase for the week during these depressed price times, it shows we are becoming more social and dear I say maybe growing a little bit.
Congratulations everyone for staying active posting and commenting and voting.
Keep it up at @galenkp and you will be 90 in no time. :)
He comes up with some fun and entertaining topics. 623 comments this weekend. That's where most of my comment count has been coming from lately, keeps me in the twenties here.

Thats the best experience you can get. Just having fun at HIVE and then noticing you made some top x. The other way around doesnt work, at least not for me, meaning: I cant see this league as a driver for more engagement just to make it into the table or get to some top x in the table :) Others maybe, but I go for the Fun at HIVE and am pleased when I get into the table :) NJOY as much as possible ;)

Nice to see the overall uptick in engagement this week as well (except for yours truly, as I plummeted off the chart again... ah well, it was nice for that brief moment... π ).
