The Bad Bold Wolves

in LeoFinance2 years ago

Nature sure has the power to regenerate and heal and it has oftentimes proved to us that it can live quite well without us around. That's not the topic of my leofinance post of today, though. It's actually about 14 wolves and the Yellowstone National Park.

In 1995, 14 wolves were released into the park, and little did the ones doing that know what an impact these wolves will have on the flora, fauna, and even the physical shape of the park.

As soon as these ones got released over there they started hunting deer, deer started to decrease in numbers, deer avoided some places of the park where it could get hunt easily... and the park started regenerating in these areas.

Aspen grew where once it was absent, bushes started claiming back their territories as well, bugs and insects and other species kicked in and the beaver which was previously extinct in that area found a home in the Yellowstone National Park once again as well.

The beaver started creating dams which reshaped the "geography of the place" and gave birth to new small ecosystems that would home more species of plants and animals.

The wolves killed the coyotes and once these were gone, rabbits and mice populations grew which of course attracted foxes, badgers, and hawks. A whole new ecosystem was created in the Yellowstone National Park by simply bringing in 14 damn wolves.

According to this short video it seems that even the physical form of the park has changed.

But sir, what does have to do with anything crypto or finance related?

Well, Bitcoin is about 13 years old, Ethereum is a bit younger, and Ripple, which is about to win the case with the SEC, although a centralized shit, is even younger than Ethereum, while Hive is basically a baby. What of an impact had all these and other similar crypto projects had so far on our modern society?

I wouldn't say it's anything staggering, but... There has to be a but.

In 1983 it was said that the evolutionary scale of the computer has peaked. "Brilliant minds" of the times were claiming that there aren't enough ideas for apps to be developed and for computers to keep on growing at their evolutionary pace.

Some were arguing that by saying that once we will have computers communicating with each other it's when the landscape will change dramatically and we will see the true power of computers unleashed to the public.

Where is Bitcoin now? It's probably in the same stage as computers were back in 1983... However, Bitcoin along with Ethereum, Hive, and other working projects that are wandering the crypto space are "the wolves that changed Yellowstone".

That park didn't change overnight... The damn 14 wolves weren't making miracles out there and they needed to breed so they can truly have an impact, but after years and years from their release to the park the whole space was different.

The world we currently live in definitely needs some time to be fixed, but the fixing tools are already here and these are communicating with each other. The wolves are out there hunting, but the deer killing the park won't be under control in just a few years. We need to be patient, proactive, vigilant, and bold about this technology.

Otherwise, we will end up eaten by the deer, cuz these fuckers running the world are no more dangerous than deer when exposed and threatened. They look like wolves but they aren't. Satoshi is the wolf. That's about it for now, I hope everyone is having a fantastic day and see you in the next post.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

So does it mean hive and the other coins are like nature which will always take its cause or ......????

No. They are the wolves.

Okay!!! I get it!

We need to be patient, proactive, vigilant, and bold about this technology.

Well, definitely blockchain is going to be the biggest technology after Internet. Today, its hard to live without Internet, same will happen with Blockchain.
