Has anyone noticed that we are now just jumping from crisis to crisis to crisis?... Whoever is behind these crises controls the money, whoever controls the money and food, controls the world...
Well, sir, wasn't crypto supposed to fix money? Wasn't blockchain technology and its use cases supposed to fix governance issues, censorship, and wealth distribution worldwide?
I still believe that blockchain and crypto have immense potential. Still, when you look at the top 100 cryptos by market cap, which actually reflects the speculative side of such assets and not that much their intrinsic value, you will notice that probably 90% of them are just white noise.
That means that these don't actually do anything in the world. The likes of Ripple, Shiba Inu, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Crash, and so on have no usability in the real world at all. These are only the products of speculation and shilling/advertising.
If Hive would have had proper exposure in the crypto world it would probably be a top 10, if not a top 5 crypto asset by now, but we don't have such exposure and it's meaningless to keep on spin in loops talking about why Hive doesn't have the proper exposure.
Crypto assets don't take power away from banks and governments to print money. They empower /anyone/ to print their own money and then the market can choose which monetary properties are most desirable. Now just replace crypto assets with Hive in this quoted statement of Jameson Lopp...
Are Jack Dorsey and Elon Musk ignorant or uneducated that they don't know about Hive, a project that does exactly what these two bozos were discussing a few months ago to build in order to fix Twitter? I'd say that's not the case....
Elon Musk has probably never heard of Hive because he's not very knowledgeable about blockchain and crypto, but I bet Dorsey knows about it. He's not willing to talk about it or invest in it by buying tokens off the market because he wants something of his own.
These guys ramble about decentralization and stuff like that, but in reality, they just want something to "somehow fit in this category" but have their name branded on that product.
90% of the crypto projects are nothing but white noise the same as these world fixers portraying themselves as such, just for the sake of publicity, are pretty much white noise as well. We here on Hive don't do rocket science. I mean, I see my activity and the stuff going on in here as pretty mundane, but we are the rockets.
We are what these folks are planning to achieve. I know @lordbutterfly has a Hive movie prepared for us and this one, if properly advertises, shall become an important marketing pilar for Hive as a social media product. Let's not confuse the product with the community, though...
Although Hive behaves quite decently as a bees hive it has a product to offer and that should be properly advertised and placed on the market. When that thing happens, hopefully after the release of the movie, we will see Hive climbing positions on coinmarketcap.
While temporarily the top 100 cryptos are mostly white noise, I do believe the skies will clear out in the decades to come. Yes, decades not years... Hive is going to be one of those that will thrive and that's when most of you will realize the grinding was worth it.

Most top 100 coin are just there because they have no usercase and I don’t see any reason why someone should be spending his time and money on them. If hive have proper marketing we should be in top 50

Transparency of hive is something we can never doubt about being a true Blockchain unlike someone who knows it exists but want that Control or power in hand won't be able to do anything.
Good thing is that Elon musk do Read Twitter Comments and actually if he found something he won't resist to reply. Not that hard to make him know about existence of hive.
But I believe all we need is Something like that Hive movie which will definitely leave a proper exposure.
Too me Elon musk would rather create his own crypto than supporting existing ones except he has control over it. Well crypto been white noise that's true, there are many speculations concerning that globally. I feel at this point it needs regulation and effective control.
I want to see him do that.
interesting point. I agree, most cryptos are dead money. you buy them and they do nothing. bitcoin amazingly has figured out how to grow in value, while doing nothing. Hive does everything, but isn't yet valued...but we are one good influencer or one good movie away from fame.
