Leaving the urban landscape of Edinburgh behind, we ventured into the breathtaking Highlands, making our first stop at Cairngorms National Park. This central hub prepared us for hiking adventures over the coming days. After dropping off our luggage, we were thrilled to discover a vegan shepherd’s pie at a local eatery, offering us a warm and hearty meal.
Our hike through Cairngorms was a magical experience. We traversed forests and climbed to stunning ridges, enjoying the scenic views while taking in the highlights of the expansive park. The serene landscapes filled with lush greenery left us in awe as we wove through breathtaking terrains.
