The narrative begins in May of 1957 when U.S. Air Force pilot Milton Tores received a coded order to fire upon an unknown object while flying over the skies of the United Kingdom. This mandate left Tores bewildered, as the rules of engagement expressly prohibited such actions without explicit approval from the UK government. This event was notably reported as early as 1991 in the Daily Star, bringing the incident to public attention long after it occurred.
