Part 1/8:
Project Magnet: An Exploration of Unidentified Flying Objects and New Technologies
Project Magnet was officially sanctioned by the Canadian government in December 1950, following a request from a researcher seeking to utilize the Department of Transport's laboratory and field facilities for a study into unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and the associated physical principles at play. The project's framework was twofold: first, gather and analyze high-quality data regarding UFO sightings, and second, systematically question and reassess fundamental scientific concepts with the anticipation of discovering discrepancies that could unlock new technological advancements.
