With Flight 7 on the horizon, the company has undergone significant preparatory actions in recent weeks. After successful static fire tests, the stages of Flight 7—Booster 14 (b14) and Ship 33 (s33)—returned to the production site for critical inspections and preparations.
The movements of these stages have generated buzz, especially given the visible elements introduced in b14. The crown, or hot staging ring, featured at the top of the booster indicates SpaceX's evolving approach to Starship launches. New reports indicate b14 was moved to the Launchpad on December 30, 2024, and once positioned, it will await Ship 33, which has also undergone careful checks.
