The proposed rail system begins at the 8th Street Station in Rancho Cucamonga, situated about 40 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Bright Line West has entered an agreement with the city to develop this station into an elevated structure with a multi-level parking garage. Complementing this facility, surrounding areas are slated for mixed-use development, designed to enhance accessibility for future commuters.
