The first and perhaps the most significant reason is the loss of passion for technology. When I first entered the field, I was excited about the prospect of building and creating. However, as the years wore on, I found that my initial enthusiasm dwindled. I had transitioned from being a novice to a competent mid-level engineer and finally a senior engineer, but all the while, my interest in technology had faded. Without a strong passion for what I was doing, I questioned whether I could achieve long-term success in this profession.
