The toll extends beyond human losses, with Russia's equipment stockpiles taking a deep hit as well. Recent counts indicate that 10,728 tanks have been destroyed or rendered inoperative on the Ukrainian battlefield. Initially, Russia was believed to possess around 3,300 operational tanks, almost all of which are now gone. It doesn't stop there; losses extend to over 22,300 armored vehicles, 46,432 other vehicles and fuel tanks, and 27,000 artillery systems.
