Traditionally, Russian security services such as the FSB (Federal Security Service), the military, and other factions operated within a delicate balance of power. Yet, this balance is now severely under threat. The infighting has reached the point where even field commanders are afraid to sign requisition orders for fuel and supplies, fearing that such documents could be weaponized against them by rivals within the security services.
