Bam Adebayo did not shy away from Wemby, attacking him aggressively with finesse and force. He scored through various methods: rip-throughs leading to layups, a thunderous dunk on Wemby, baby hooks over his shoulder, and drilling a few three-pointers, particularly when Wemby roamed off him. Wemby, for his part, challenged Bam defensively despite a cold shooting night, notably drawing five blocks and swarming on defense, disrupting offensive flow with his length and swats.
Andrew Wiggins also made a significant impact, driving confidently, hitting shots over defenders, and contributing on both ends. His scoring ability, especially in creating one-on-one opportunities and pulling up from mid-range, was a highlight, even as he struggled with consistency.
