He detailed catastrophic issues, notably the severe communication limitations. In urban environments, with low-rise buildings and complex terrain, operators found their control range slashed to 300-500 meters. Loss of control was not uncommon: in some cases, communication was severed for over an hour, rendering the vehicle useless just when it was needed most.
