Part 3/6:

Among the opening acts that left a lasting impression on Paul Stanley was Rush. Recalling an early tour, he recalls the band's lineup featuring drummer John Rutsey and the album Fly by Night. Stanley recalled being captivated by Rush when they opened for KISS during the Fly by Night tour in 1975, specifically mentioning the album Working Man as a highlight of that era.

He expressed admiration for Rush’s distinctiveness: "I thought they were the coolest opening band I’d ever seen." At that point, Rush was transforming from their humble beginnings into the legendary prog-rock outfit known worldwide. Stanley pointed out that Rush had just acquired drummer Neil Peart, marking their rising trajectory.
