Previously, Nirav climbed the ranks to become the head of hardware at Oculus, where he recognized a troubling trend: modern devices were designed as one-time-use objects. They are inherently temporary, meant to be replaced rather than repaired, creating a cycle of consumer waste and environmental impact.
