Designing for Repairability and User Control
Framework’s core product, the laptop, exemplifies this philosophy. Nearly every component is modular and accessible—each part can be swapped out with just a screwdriver. The device features simple layers: modules for the keyboard, touchpad, fingerprint reader, and internal components that are transparent and easy to replace or upgrade.
