Today, the average Black household remains significantly behind in wealth and access to capital compared to white households. Although there are countless examples of successful Black entrepreneurs, systemic barriers continue to hinder widespread economic participation. The system, intentionally or not, makes it difficult for Black communities to achieve financial equity, reinforcing cycles of poverty and marginalization.
