If a machine can produce valuable work endlessly, what does that mean for human artists’ uniqueness? Are we witnessing the birth of a “golden goose”—an inexhaustible source of profit and productivity? Or are we confronting a profound shift in what it means to create?
Artificial intelligence's capabilities threaten to outpace human productivity and perhaps even creativity, raising fears of displacement and devaluation of human labor. The project does not shy away from these concerns. Instead, creators see Ai-Da as an opportunity to engage the public thoughtfully, encouraging greater awareness and dialogue about the societal impacts of AI.
