I don't see myself as a typical entrepreneur or a member of a privileged elite. Instead, I view my role as one existentially motivated to fix a deeply flawed part of our economy—healthcare. The healthcare industry was long overdue for a reckoning, and my personal ordeal made this need undeniable. What I experienced—receiving excellent care but struggling to understand and manage the financial aspect—highlighted the profound disconnect within our system.
