Lacey’s Journey
Lacey’s story exemplifies the transformative power of this approach. Over eight years, she faced homelessness, incarceration, and the loss of custody of her children. Her children entered foster care and switched through numerous schools, with Jaden, her son, bouncing around ten different schools in just three years. Despite her struggles, Lacey managed to reconnect with her children through the support of Positive Tomorrows, a specialized school in Oklahoma.
