Derrick’s journey began with a simple yet profound idea: animals suffering from traumatic injuries deserve the same opportunities for rehabilitation as humans. With this vision, he embarked on a remarkable mission to develop innovative mobility devices that can help injured animals heal and regain function. His work has taken him around the globe, including a notable trip to Botswana to aid an elephant named Jaboo. To date, Derrick estimates he has helped approximately 25,000 animals, a testament to his unwavering commitment to this cause.
