In response, MemoryWell was born. Today, it boasts a network of over 600 writers across the country, working to craft stories for more than 600 seniors housed in 35 assisted living facilities within 19 states. The platform hosts these stories digitally, allowing families to contribute additional details—such as favorite songs, movies, arts, and readings—to deepen the narrative and foster connections.
The goal: to build empathy and understanding. When caregivers and family members know a senior’s background, it humanizes their experience, transforming care from purely clinical to compassionately personal.
