Part 2/13:
Historically, theme parks offered limited elements—simple rides, visually stunning sets, and animatronic figures—that provided a temporary escape from reality. These experiences were designed to make visitors feel as though they had transcended their daily lives. However, as expectations have risen, so too has the complexity and sophistication of the tools used to create these realms.
Today, theme parks incorporate pyrotechnics, gimbaled cars, projection mapping, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and even game engine technology to craft more dynamic and believable worlds. The goal isn't just entertainment but creating fully immersive stories that captivate multiple senses and foster genuine emotional connections.
