Gallon’s recent season was, frankly, disappointing. His 2023 numbers show a 13-15 win-loss record with a 4.83 ERA over 192 innings — poor by any standards. For a team like the Mets, which needs reliable innings, such a haul falls short, especially given the high ERA.
