Part 10/13:
An important theme emerging from the research and personal accounts is that ideological extremes—whether in radical feminism, progressive activism, or conservative fundamentalism—tend to decrease overall happiness and social cohesion. Women deeply committed to progressive causes increasingly report mental health issues, partly due to catastrophic thinking about societal oppression and personal victimhood.
Similarly, conservative women who maintain traditional roles, faith, and community involvement tend to be happier. They often have more stable marriages and less loneliness, highlighting the social and emotional benefits of shared values and institutions rooted in faith and family.
