Gigi Duta, who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, has a history of engaging with political content on social media. However, it was after the death of Charlie Kirk that their posts took a disturbing turn. Instead of expressing condolences or remorse, Duta openly mocked the tragedy, sharing posts that appeared to support violence and political extremism.
One particularly egregious example involved sharing Spotify playlists with titles like “Charlie Kirk is dead,” which they apparently found amusing. Responses from Duta included phrases like “Love them for that,” indicating a twisted sense of approval for celebrating a death in such a manner. This kind of language underscores a blatant disregard for human life and dignity, especially when political figures lose their lives.
