More concerning than fan criticism are the leaks that appear to have compromised the plot of The Acolyte. Rumors circulating months ago suggested a major twist involving the lead character, played by Amandla Stenberg. According to these leaks, Stenberg's character—initially presumed to be a solo protagonist—was actually playing twin sisters, Asha and May, who were separated at some point.
The story allegedly involves one twin, Asha, being taken by the Jedi, while the other stayed in the village and later turned to the dark side. This twist was supposed to be a groundbreaking reveal, but unfortunately, it seems Disney mishandled this information.
