CD Projekt Red, the renowned developer behind The Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077, recently garnered attention for their announcement of a new "menstrual leave" benefit. The company proudly shared on social media that they had received a Diversity Charter Award for this policy, labeling it as an "innovative approach" to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
According to their report, during the first nine months of implementation, 39% of eligible women took menstrual leave at least once, with an average use of 11.3% of eligible women actively utilizing the benefit. Additionally, 57% of women who used the leave did so at least twice within that period.
