Part 3/10:
Despite the attempts by industry shills and certain gaming journalists to downplay the failure, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was a catastrophic commercial and critical disaster. Warner Brothers, the publisher behind the game, officially revealed during their Q1 earnings that the game cost the company approximately $200 million in revenue losses.
In stark contrast to successful contemporary titles like Hogwarts Legacy, which both performed well and garnered positive reception, Suicide Squad suffered from a variety of issues. It was delayed multiple times, pulled from shelves shortly after early access, and criticized heavily for its gameplay mechanics, multiplayer/ live-service approach, and overall execution.
