Despite the rumors, the reality is that George Lucas is nearly 80 years old and has been explicitly clear about his withdrawal from the franchise. He has previously stated that he is content spending time with his family and that he has no interest in making any more Star Wars movies. His departure years ago was motivated by exhaustion and a desire to step away from a franchise that had consumed much of his life.
There is no credible evidence suggesting that Lucas is planning to return for any new projects, let alone a secret series. His participation in the past involved groundbreaking films, but he made it clear that his active involvement has ended. Nonetheless, the allure of a Lucas-led comeback persists in the fan community.
