Due to strict nondisclosure agreements, details about the storyline are scarce. However, what is known is that the series is set in the High Republic era—hundreds of years before the prequel trilogy. According to Stenberg, it’s a period marked by relative peace but also by rigid institutions controlling perceptions of the Force. The narrative is supposed to explore conflicts within these institutions—questioning their singular understanding of power and the Force, and presenting various perspectives in relation to the inherent ethos of Star Wars.
