In the weeks following release, the player count plummeted. Reports indicated that the number of players dipping below 1,000 on Steam, even during peak hours, was catastrophic. As of just a few hours ago, the game's player count had dwindled to roughly 2,000, and in off-peak hours, sometimes closer to 900. To put this into perspective, Batman: Arkham Knight still maintained a player peak of around 4,700 concurrent users, illustrating just how severely Suicide Squad flopped.
