An essential part of this collaboration is understanding that you don't control everything. When your idea doesn't get accepted, instead of dwelling on what was denied, it’s better to accept the outcome calmly. The focus should be on supporting the collective effort, understanding that everyone is bringing something unique to the table—something the others cannot.
This humility and openness pave the way for creating music that is richer, more layered, and more authentic. When artists flow with each other's contributions instead of trying to dominate or control the outcome, the group can produce work that is substantially greater than the sum of its parts.
