Hedlin's future appears to be oriented toward film and theater rather than streaming platforms. She is currently drafting and developing a film adaptation of her stage hit, Cult of Love, a story inspired by her personal life, specifically her experiences with her family and her time working as Harvey Weinstein’s assistant. After a successful run at Berkeley Rep and a theatrical run on Broadway earlier this year, Hedlin is now aiming to bring Cult of Love to the big screen.
