Part 11/16:
The episode is filled with questionable science and storytelling choices: alien planets that don’t follow physical laws, lasers that can’t pierce robots but are deadly to humans, and a giant ball that transports the Doctor and Belinda without any logical explanation. The TARDIS itself features flashy but meaningless upgrades, like a larger interior with no real purpose. Its malfunctioning and bouncing off course is used repeatedly as a cheap plot device.
