Part 6/13:
BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF dominance is a notable highlight, accounting for over half of the firm’s net ETF flows for this year. Despite some exaggerated claims, the data confirms that BlackRock's ETF is making significant impacts, and the idea that major institutions are dumping Bitcoin wholesale is false.
The 9u ETFs—notably Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust—have seen a dramatic decrease of nearly 300,000 Bitcoin (from about 640,000 to 348,000) in just three months, indicating shifting ownership rather than outright market failure. Major institutional players such as Fidelity, MicroStrategy, Tether, and others continue to amass Bitcoin, with Tether generating profits partly from Bitcoin holdings.
