The Episode’s Clumsy Symbolism and Underlying Racism Allegory
Much of the episode hinges on allegory, but its execution is muddled. The characters' blond and ginger features, as well as the racial homogeneity, serve as visual shorthand for societal bias—suggesting that the "system" displaces or eliminates those who are different or non-conforming.
