If people are listening, it's never a bad time to spread the word about blockchain and how web 3.0 is revolutionizing many traditional industries.
This time we took crypto up to the mountains.
I Just got back from Awake Fest 2022 where I had the chance to speak about blockchain, cryptocurrency and NFTs. One of the projects that sponsored The Crypto Pond was an NFT project built on the Solana blockchain called Wassie World. The project is focused on building a community through educational workshops, seminars and mental health support.

Our slot was at 5:00pm, so it got dark pretty soon after our chat, but the cold and dark are no obstacle for us xD
We were also able to pay for our refreshments using Bitcoin Lightning, which as you may have seen from previous videos, is slowly but surely being accepted in the region, partly thanks to our neighbour, El Salvador's implementation of Bitcoin as legal tender.

But yeah, back to the festival.
We had LED lamps, winter clothes and mescal, so we survived.
