The Mad Genius strikes again

Hi,

yesterday, the McAfee of 2021, did another blow to the crypto world. If I had written, had instead of did, it might have been also right.

Now, the bonkers, the CEO of an electric carmaker, cars which use electricity as fuel, won't accept any more BTC as a payment method, because BTC is using a lot of electricity and most electricity is made with the aid of fossil fuels, which is bad for the environment. Feel the irony?

Also, electric cars use a lot of lithium and cobalt, minerals that when mined, are damaging a lot of the nature around.

Do we have here a little hypocrisy? As Doge is mentioned in a previous tweet, where Doge is hard fork of hard fork of BTC, and it is using also electricity.

There might be a plan to it, where he sold a lot of BTC at a price over $60k and hopes with his mad tweets to rebuy at a lower price. He knows that he can influence the market in a major way, and I'm pretty sure that he leverages it.

He is a genius and sees the corners that can be cut that can increase his profit. A carmaker that does not make money on sold cars, but on selling green certificates, and it is still evaluated as the top carmaker in the world regarding value. This is madness, and it seems that people like it.

What shall we do? First, don't panic and don't sell as it is a tricky move. Wait for the dip and buy before him, if you have FIAT available. This is no advice, as I'm not a financial advisor. Please use your reasoning and logic before stepping into it.

I wait and will probably grab some interesting tokens that might explode and are on discount due to some tweets.

This is madness, and it seems that people like it.

They always liked it. That is where the "Bread and circuses" came from.

Bread and circuses to the people.

Exactly, almost like a more elevated football game, but still a circus.

@alexvan

As we have a saying in my country, "The crazy one is not who eats the food, but the one who gives it to him".

Or said simply, a lot of people are influenced by the opinion of popular people and are willing to do what they tell them to.

With the mass of people hearing about cryptocurrency and DOGE specifically, they tend to take risks without realizing the cost, and a lot of people will get burnt around this DOGE "craze".

First, don't panic and don't sell as it is a tricky move.

I am not panicking but I think there are probably a bunch of people who are.

As for Elon, I don't know but he seems to be favoring the Doge right now but I don't know if I would really buy any. Especially after Vitalik dumped a bunch of dog related coins.

I understood what kind of person Musk is when he pushed to appear in Iron Man 2 for about 10 seconds:

Oh, he totally knows what he is doing. This was all pure manipulation. It is ridiculous.
