Because it's harder to plan business with a volatile token/currency such as HIVE. Having a "establish" coin really helps.
You don't like HBD, then don't bother with it and leave it to others.
I don't mind HBD myself. I think the complexity scares away new commers.
Should we embrace idiocracy over utility?
