What do you feel about exams for students during COVID times ?
There is partial lockdown in many places in India and some schools are shut .
The exams aren't being postponed though for university students .
What is your take ?

I don't think they can postpone it because if they delay things then everything is thrown off. Either way most of them are overpriced and its not like its going to change most of their decision.

Well the problem is , they postponed it for 10th standard and some degree courses but not for others . That triggered some students , I mean it just seems unfair for them .

If they fail the exam, they should be reimbursed their tuition and/or roll them back for free, and let them try again until they succeed..
but I've never went to college or paid tuition, so I'm speaking out of my ass. I just think they paid for a service, and they got robbed.
I agree with unorg, they should get the chance to retest at a later date for free. If all of these courses are supposedly available online, it really wouldn't cost the schools anything but a little extra paperwork. Seems patently unfair and definitely money-oriented and not student.
If I'm the students, I might organize some pickets of these schools....

That , unfortunately , won't happen . The Education here is commercialized and sold like tomatoes in the market . The management of the schools and colleges don't care about children as much they care about money .
I see , self tuition ?

Self education via the internet.
I know this method has its flaws.. but if you allow yourself to understand that you can be wrong, and you are open-minded I think that this is a one of the best methods for learning and understand ideas and concepts outside of the normal curriculum of reading/writing/arithmetic.
To be honest , I prefer this over the traditional ways . Right now it's all about certificates and grades and less about knowledge in the UNI .
With the vast resources available online right now , I totally support self-education.

Seriously.. the amount of frugality that comes with internet self education is amazing. If I want to take a break I could go to the backyard and work on sustainability, if I am too hot to work outside I can come in and practice self education.. all the while, barely having to rely on petroleum powered products.
