Alice's computer, the faucet is still running. It's received the request, and it has satisfied the request, but that doesn't mean that it stops. It's still running, unless I pass the flag dash dash once, I think. Then it just serves it once and then quits the command. You can even run this in daemon mode. I don't know if I would, but you could. dash dash d a e m o n starts faucet and then sends it to the background. So you get your terminal prompt back, and your computer is just serving up a file or a whole directory of files or whatever you want to serve to anyone who approaches it with the hose command at your IP address at the correct port. They'll receive that data. It's pretty cool. I mean, it's a great alternative, or a possible alternative, I think, to that ubiquitous Python command that you see online all over the place, where they're like, oh, start a minimal web server with one single Python command, which is useful, and it's great for people whose computer ability barely (7/55)
