The hierarchy was different. So in NFTables, and I don't remember what it is in IP tables, so I'm not going to compare and contrast. I'm just going to say in NFTables, a table is where you hold all of your chains and chains contain all of your rules. So that's the hierarchy. First, you need a table. Then in the table, you put some chains. And then in those chains, you create some rules. So we might as well create a chain first, because that's kind of a likely next step in real life. A chain can be it can be input, it can be output. There aren't like specific kinds of like there are no preset chains in NFTables. I don't know why not. I would imagine that there would be some assumption, like safe assumptions. But for whatever reason, there aren't any presets. I know that there were presets in IP tables. Like there was definitely an input chain and an output chain and that sort of thing. So you just create your own chain is the short version of that. And the syntax is going to seem pretty (44/55)
