Content is king and i agree to that so much and i also feel that engagement is the key to that kingdom on hive. Engagement is what gives you audience.
No content is valuable until it adds value to our experience.
The way hive is structured one might not see a valuable as people dont look past the trending page most times.
Some people create value and hope for the best.
What is the future of those who have not gotten that reputation yet? How can they get the reputation in order for their valuable content to be recognized?

Effort in, consistency, development of the community, investing, engagement, showcasing skills, self-development... if people are looking for monetary value, they have to consider it like a business where the audience is the potential customer. If a shop doesn't have what you are looking for, do you shop there?
