Tomorrow Is The Day Chaos Packs and Opening!
Tomorrow is the big day! After months of waiting for Chaos from Early August we finally get to open some packs! Currently I'm sitting on 385 myself from prelaunch which is under what my goal was but that voucher price just felt too good not to sell a few!
With the release of packs opening we are also going into a new phase where all of December and part of the new year 2022 you will need vouchers still to buy a pack and open it. This puts a higher value on packs themselves from $4 however early in 2022 Chaos packs will be open for general sale at $4 each and 12 million packs. That would take 48 million bucks to sell out.
While some people think these packs will be available for a while I personally feel they are going to sell out in the first month if not much faster. Why do I feel that way?
Take a look at Alpha release those sold out as fast as vouchers dropped and the final price tag of those first 1 million was around 21 million dollars for 1 million packs.
How do I pull that number? It's a rough estimate but being that packs still cost $4 and a rough average of the voucher cost at $17 would put each pack costing $21 now of course those are rough figures as some if not most would be from the airdrop itself which would skew the numbers a bit.
What we can look at is previous packs and how much they are selling for. Untamed and Dice are both over $80 each and those only cost $2 a pack! Land once sold for $20 now it's over $600. Personally I feel that no matter how many packs you picked up for Chaos you would be able to resell them for more than $4 and that to me is going to bring in some big money players to grab up those packs quickly!
From what I hear when the $4 packs drop there are people with large orders that will get the drop instantly. I know of one at least which is 100,000 packs! I have a feeling there will be a number of others which means a very quick drop on that 12 million on initial release.
