Governments Trying to Shutdown Crypto are not using "The Secret" Effectively

I watched a documentary over a decade ago called "The Secret", which had a powerful message. The premise of the film was that you attract into your life whatever you think about most, and wise men have been using it throughout the ages to improve their lives and manipulate the lives of others.

Let's say you're constantly thinking about how much debt you owe, and how to get rid of it. Instead of reaching your goal of financial freedom, your debt problem will only get worse. Likewise, if you're constantly focused on how overweight you are and that you need to lose some pounds, you will reinforce your weight problem instead of slimming down.

Donald Trump understood The Secret well and used it to his advantage. He knew that all publicity, whether positive or negative, is good publiclity. He made all sorts of sensational statements that were covered extensively by the mainstream media. When the American people finally went to the voting polls, they were subconcisouly thinking about Trump, not the other more politically correct candidates. He ended up getting their vote, whether they loved him or hated him.

Advertising works the same way. The most important thing they need to do is to capture your attention. They do not necessarily need to put the product in a positive light, just make sure
the brand is imprinted into your memory. The ad may cause you to laugh at the product and consider it rediculous. But after you've seen the ad a few times it's fixed in your brain, and the next
time you visit the supermarket you will subconciously choose their brand over the competitors that you do not recognize.

We have seen that individuals and governments are thinking more and more about the crypto space every day.

Our beloved Peter Schiff, who has taught us a lot about finance and economics, used to completely ignore Bitcoin on his podcasts. It was never a topic he covered until a few years ago, when he started
to dedicate a segment almost every episode to the crypto markets. We owe him a debt of gratitude for the additional exposure. I'm sure a lot of his listeners ended up investing in the crypto markets thanks to his constant mentions of Bitcoin, even though they were negative.

Countries like India and China have taken steps to ban crypto trading in their country. China even recently moved to ban mining. These new laws end up in the news and have the unintended effect of leading more people to think about crypto, lending it more legitamacy and fueling its adoption.

If these governments really wanted to slow down the adoption of crypto, they would be best to ignore it as much as possible. Of course, they'd be much better off recognizing its inevitability and adopting it like our friends in El Salvador have done.

Additionally, Bitcoin Maximalists who constantly Tweet about "scam" alt-coins are also hurting their own cause. They'd be much better off ignoring alt-coins completely and focusing entirely on the
benefits of Bitcoin.

So use The Secret to your advantage, and to the advantage of the industry. If you want the banks to go away, instead of complaining about them, ignore them. If you want absurd government policies to go away, don't fight and expend energy on them, just ignore them. Focus your energy instead on the solution, which is the new decentralized financial system we call crypto.

I enjoyed this article. I think out of mind is death, but on my mind for whatever reason is life. What a man thinketh, so shall he become is true today as it was in the past. Mind over Matter, Brain over Brawn.
