Yeah we don't really care how it works, we care that it does work, it's not going to make transactions super cheap but cheaper is better than nothing and while that privacy doesn't;t solve the fungibility issue yet, it's a step in the right direction.
Bitcoin takes its time to adopt new features and I'm okay with that I;m in it for the long run
